NHS App
If you’re a patient at our practice you can use the NHS App, a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services on your smartphone or tablet.
You can use the NHS App to get health advice, order repeat prescriptions, view your GP health record and more.

Online Access (Patient Access) – A guide for patients
Online Access offers the ability to order repeat prescriptions and change your contact details from your phone, tablet or computer.
From the 1st November 2022 patients will automatically be able to view all their future medical records via the NHS App. For full detailed access before this date patients would need to contact the practice to make a request for that function.
When you view your medical record you may sometimes see something that you don't understand or something that may cause upset such as abnormal results or bad news. Please read our leaflet that details important information you should know before viewing your record:

Messaging
Messages will be sent out by the Practice to patients with a mobile phone number recorded in their records so please ensure that you inform us of any changes so you don’t miss out on important reminders.
The Practice may send you invites to book appointments to your mobile phone or your NHS App account instead of sending you a letter.
Repeat Prescriptions
All repeat prescription requests take 2 working days to process and will be sent electronically to your nominated chemist. You will be contacted by a member of the Prescription team within the processing period if there are any issues.
Appointments
You can also view your existing appointments and cancel an appointment.
Please help to reduce the number of wasted appointments by cancelling in plenty of time if you can’t attend your appointment.
Children and Online Access
Children aged between 11 and 16 can have their own account but they must be assessed by the Practice to see if they are able to manage this for themselves. Children under the age of 13 are not allowed to download apps and so would have to use one of the services that offer access via a website.
Children under 11 cannot have an account of their own but a parent or guardian can manage their appointments and repeat prescriptions using Proxy Access.
Proxy Access
Some online access providers offer the ability to manage an account on behalf of a dependent. Speak to a member of the reception team for more information.
All parties concerned will need to complete forms and provide photo ID and proof of address.
