Access

There is good access disabled patients to all of our consultation rooms and the main surgery has lifts and wide doors to allow for wheelchair access, wheelchairs are also available in the building. Baxenden is equipped with a ramp for ease of access. Both sites have disabled toilet facilities also.

The car park at Accrington PALS has designated disabled bays and car parking is available at Baxenden site.

The practice is a dementia friendly practice, appropriate signs for being dementia friendly are placed around the practice.

An induction loop is available for hard of hearing patients at the reception desk at Accrington PALS site.

Any patient information can be provided in large text and alternative formats to aid accessibility. If you have any specific needs to help us communicate with you please let our Reception Team know as we will be happy to accommodate these.

We are guide dog friendly and welcome guide dogs to the practice.

We can also access British Sign Language interpreters.

The practice is open weekdays, 8am to 6:30pm. Please note we do close on bank holidays.

Out of Hours

If you need urgent care when we are closed please contact NHS 111. You should use the NHS 111 service if you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation.

If you are ill or hurt and need help fast, but it is not a 999 emergency, use NHS 111.
