In November 2021 East Lancashire Hospital Trust (ELHT) introduced a new IT system for managing maternity care. All midwife and antenatal consultations, clinic notes and booking of consultations migrated from GP computer systems to a new ELHT system called BadgerNet. This means that GP surgeries can no longer routinely access patients notes or consultations, even if they take place within our surgery.
For all queries, comments and requests for a consultation should now be directed via the BadgetNet system or via contacting the Community Midwifery Hub on 01282 804 512.
For those ladies who are newly pregnant and need to access midwife care you should self refer online via;
www.elht.nhs.uk/badgernet
Practice staff are unable to refer you or do this on your behalf.
